\nCarpet aids Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in two ways. The first is that carpet traps dust and other allergens51 and keeps them out of the breathing zone and they are removed through regular vacuuming. The second is by purchasing Green Label Plus certified carpet. GLP certifies that the carpet you buy is a low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) product and improves IAQ in homes.<\/p>\n

Comfort<\/strong>
\nSome of the most widely known benefits of carpet are comfort, warmth, and insulation. Carpet is softer and feels better underfoot. The correct carpet pad selection makes a lot of difference too. Research which type of carpet pad will go best with your carpet before purchasing.<\/p>\n

Maintenance<\/strong>
\nWhen compared to the maintenance cost of other floorings, carpet maintenance is much more cost-effective. Regular vacuuming, a deep cleaning every 12-18 months and prompt spot removal will maintain the look and life of your carpet.<\/p>\n
